Ed held senior posts as executive vice president of a major oil refining and marketing company, headed up the polymer division of a major chemical company and was employed as an officer of a major consulting company. In addition, he and his family owned several mall retail stores with a nautical theme and have invested in several small businesses. Ed wrote a book “UNDERSTANDING SMALL BUSINESS, a Complete Guide” based on his experiences with teaching, counseling and starting small businesses.  The book was published in 2006 by Tate Publishing.  Ed passed away in early 2008.
